Registration

Q: When can I register for the conference?

TCA Members can register for the conference through July 1 for only $100 (online payments only)! Early bird registration will be open from July 2 - July 31, 2021. Pre-Registration pricing will be available from August 1 through the beginning of the conference! You can always register onsite.

Q: When can I access the conference app?

The conference app will be available to attendees in October 2021

Q: What type of payment is accepted?

  • Register online using a credit card

  • Beginning July 2, 2021 when Early Bird registration opens you may pay by check. A registration form will be available on the registration page. (Mailed registrations must be post marked on or before October 20, 2021. DO NOT mail your check and registration after October 20 - instead bring your form and check with you to onsite registration.)

  • Purchase orders are NEVER accepted as a form of payment

Q: How do I cancel my registration?

Before you cancel, consider switching to our virtual conference to have access to virtual programs through Dec. 31, 2021.  If you’d like to switch your registration from in-person to virtual, please email chyenne@txca.org.  If you would like to move forward with a refund request, please submit your request at www.txca.org/refund before October 20, 2021.  Requests submitted via email to staff will not be considered.  A $50 administrative fee is deducted from all refunds and duplicate payments.  Refunds are generally processed 6-8 weeks after the event closes.  If your request is denied you will be notified in writing.  Substitutions are permitted and must be submitted to registration@txca.org


Hotels

Q: I reserved a hotel room before this event was transferred to a virtual platform. Can I cancel my reservation?

If you made a reservation at the Kalahari under our group rate when this was still an in-person event, you will need to contact the resort directly either online or by calling 1 (877) 525-2427 to cancel your reservation. Any deposits that were taken from the Kalahari will be refunded in full. If you made a reservation under a different rate (AAA, AARP, Expedia, etc.) or at a different hotel, you will need to cancel your reservation as soon as possible.
 

Conference Programs

Q: How do I access handouts?

We ask presenters to supply their handouts and presentations electronically before the conference so you can download what you need before you attend a session! If handouts are provided by a presenter, they will be accessible through the conference platform.

Q: Will the handouts be available after conference is over?

Yes, handouts that TCA receives will be available online through the conference platform until June 30, 2021.

Q: How many CE hours can I earn at conference?

One (1.0) continuing education contact clock hour is given per program hour. Programs will be live during the conference, but will also be available to earn continuing education via recording until June 30, 2021. 

Q: What type of CE hours can I earn at your conference?

All conference programs are eligible for LPC, NBCC, SBEC, LMFT, LCDC, SW, Psychologist/LSSP and School Psychologist continuing education hours. 

Q: Where can I submit a conference survey?

You will have the opportunity to evaluate the programs online through the Conference platform. TCA will also email you a conference attendee survey after the event's conclusion.
