Registering for the Conference
Pre-Registering (Online & Mailed Registrations)

- Register ahead of time and save! Lower rates than onsite registration!
- Payment in full is required to process pre-registration.
- The pre-registration deadline is October 25, 2019.
- Mailed pre-registration forms MUST be postmarked by October 25, 2019 to avoid paying onsite registration rates.
- Purchase orders and faxed registrations are not accepted.
- Pre-registration forms and pricing will not be accepted for on-site registration.
- Cash, check, money order, or major credit card accepted.
- Purchase orders are NOT accepted.
- Students must provide proof of current enrollment in a counseling related program.
Confirmations are sent to the email listed on your registration form. Check your confirmation to ensure that there are no errors. Mailed registration forms will receive a confirmation within 20 business days of receipt. Online registrations will receive confirmation after credit card payment is processed. Be sure to mark our domain (txca.org) as a safe sender to ensure timely receipt of our emails.
Refunds & Substitutions
Refund requests MUST be submitted to www.txca.org/refund by November 1, 2019. Requests after this date will not be processed. Refunds are subject to a $50 administrative fee and will be processed 6-8 weeks after the conference has concluded. Meal function tickets, on-site program books, and t-shirt purchases are non-refundable. Substitutions are permitted and must be submitted to firstname.lastname@example.org by November 1, 2019.
On-Site Registration and Name Badge Pick Up
Attendees are required to register and pick up their name badge and materials before they may attend any conference events. See the Conference Overview for registration hours.
All badges must be visible to security and conference personnel for admission to all conference programs, ticketed events, and the exhibit hall. Your name badge will also include a QR code used to scan into programs for CE hours. For your safety, no one will be allowed to enter without a proper badge. Single-day badges will be valid for admission on that day only.

Learning Institutes ($130)
Learning Institutes will be held on Wednesday, November 13, 2019 from 8:30 am 4:45 pm and provide 6.5 CE hours. Tickets for Learning Institutes may be purchased in advance with your pre-registration, or on-site. Conference registration is not required to attend a Learning Institute. Post-Conference Workshops ($75)
Post-Conference Workshops will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2019, from 8:30 am Noon. Tickets for Post-Conference Workshops may be purchased in advance with your pre-registration or on-site. Conference registration is not required to attend a Post-Conference workshop. See Post-Conference Workshop selections.
Meal Functions ($20 - $40)
Division meal function tickets as well as tickets to the Graduate Student breakfast must be purchased in advance with pre-registration and are non-refundable. Learn more.
On-Site Program Book ($25)
We're going green! Program books are no longer included with conference registration. However, a limited quantity is available for purchase. If you would like a program book on-site, please select it as an additional item with your pre-registration ($25).
The program book will be posted online for free before the conference. All schedule information will also be available in our conference app for free.
Conference T-Shirts ($15 each)
Conference t-shirts must be purchased in advance with pre-registration and are non-refundable. T-shirts may be available for purchase on site, but it is best to pre-order to guarantee availability. T-shirts are available in sizes S - XXXL. Pre-purchased t-shirts not picked up by noon on Friday, November 15, 2019 will be available for sale.
Other Important Information
All attendees must be members of TCA. If you are not yet a member of TCA, you must pay the non-member rate (which includes a one-year TCA membership in addition to your conference registration). For information about membership, please visit www.txca.org, or email email@example.com.
Stay Informed - Please use our FREE App!
The free conference app, going live in October, will have the most current information. Once the conference begins, changes, updates, and cancellations will be posted in the conference app and announced at each General Session. An onsite printed program book may be pre-ordered for $25 (not included with conference registration).
Continuing Education Hours (CE)
All Learning Institutes, Post-Conference Workshops, and conference programs are eligible to receive LPC, LMFT, LCDC, NBCC, SBEC, Social Worker and Psychologist/LSSP continuing education hours. Ethics are offered on specific programs marked as "Ethics". Supervision hours are offered on specific programs marked as "Counselor Supervision". Attendance will be tracked through your conference name badge (QR code). You must scan into each session within 15 minutes of the program start time and remain through the entirety of the program to receive full credit for the session. Partial credit will not be granted. After the conference, an email with a CE certificate for the programs you attended will be sent to the email on file with TCA.

TCA and Division Elections
You can vote at designated areas in the exhibit hall or by logging into your TCA member profile. TCA and Division nominations run from August 13 - September 18. Elections will open on October 16 and run through 2 pm on Thursday, November 14. TCA results will be announced during the Annual Membership Meeting at the General Session on Friday, November 15.
Exhibitors and Sponsors
Exhibitors and sponsors support your work and offer valuable resources. Each vendor has been carefully vetted. Please make time in your schedule to visit with them! See the Conference Overview for exhibit hall hours.
Volunteers and program facilitators make our conferences a success! Watch your email, www.txca.org, and social media for more information on volunteering. Volunteers assist with registration and on-site support, or facilitate programs. Graduate students who volunteer for at least three hours athe conference will receive a $25 gift card! Learn more.
