Q: When can I register for the conference?
TCA members can register at the early-bird rate until June 30, 2019. This is the lowest rate offered for the conference. Pre-registration will become available to members as well as non-members from July 1 - October 25. Registration will also be available on-site at a higher rate.
Q: What type of payment is accepted?
- Register online using a MasterCard, Visa, American Express, or Discover.
- Pay by check using the printable registration form found on the registration page. (Mailed registrations must be post marked on or before October 25). DO NOT mail your check and registration after October 25. After October 25, you will need to bring your check with you on-site (and pay the on-site registration rate).
- If you are paying on-site, we accept credit cards, checks, and cash.
- Purchase orders are NEVER accepted as a form of payment
Q: I've missed the pre-registration deadline, now what?
Don't worry! Just register on site! On-site registration is open every day of the conference and will be located in the exhibit hall.
Q: How do I cancel my registration?
The cancellation deadline is November 1, 2019. Please submit an electronic refund request online here. A $50 administrative fee is deducted from all refunds and duplicate payments. Refunds are generally processed 6 - 8 weeks after the event ends. If your request is denied you will be notified in writing. Meal function, special event, and t-shirt tickets are non-refundable. Substitutions are permitted and must be submitted to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Q: Does the hotel require a deposit on my credit card?No. A deposit in not required. However, a major credit card is required to guarantee your reservation.
Q: I'm told the hotel block is full, what now?TCA recommends you book your room as soon as possible to guarantee a spot in the TCA hotel block. If the host hotel block fills, we will work to negotiate additional discounted room space with nearby hotel properties. Sometimes due to cancellations, rooms become available after the host hotel block is closed. Check back with the hotel in question if you want to stay there.
Q: How much does the internet cost in the host hotel rooms?Information varies by hotel. Please check with the hotel directly.

Q: How do I access handouts?We ask presenters to supply their handouts and presentations electronically before the conference so you can download what you need before you attend a session! If handouts are provided by a presenter, they will be posted online closer to the start of conference. In addition, handouts may be available in the conference app.
Q: Will the handouts be available after conference is over?Yes, handouts that TCA receives will be available online after the conference until December 31 and through the conference app.
Q: How many CE hours can I earn at conference?One (1.0) continuing education contact clock hour is given per program hour. An attendee can earn 6.5 CE hours by attending a Learning Institute (11/13), a number of additional CE hours during the conference educational programs (11/14-11/15), and 3.5 CE hours by attending a Post Conference Workshop (11/16).
Q: What type of CE credit can I earn at your conference?All conference programs are eligible for LPC, NBCC, SBEC, LMFT, LCDC, SW, Psychologist/LSSP and School Psychologist continuing education hours.
Q: Where can I submit a conference survey?TCA will email you a conference attendee survey after the event's conclusion. You can also complete program specific surveys through the conference app.
